“Treasured: Discovering You’re Priceless to God” is the theme of Vacation Bible School to be hosted by Shreve United Methodist Church from 9 a.m.-noon July 12-15. Glenmont Food Pantry serving Holmes County communities fourth Tuesday each month from 5-7 p.m. at Glenmont Community building (old school building). Pantry currently a drive-thru for the near future.

Love Center Food Pantry currently drive-thru and will sign clients in from vehicles and gather food for each family without the clients coming into the building. Hours Monday 1-5 p.m. and Wednesdays and Fridays from 1-4:30 p.m.

4UCC4Christ in Baltic distributes to local Baltic area families personal-care items, baby needs, cleaning supplies and paper products third Monday each month in village hall basement from 1-4 p.m.

Holmes County Women, Infants and Children program offers breastfeeding support services to pregnant, recently postpartum and breastfeeding mothers and children up to age 5. The WIC program provides nutrition education and nutritious foods. Call 330-674-8455.

Water Pollution Control Loan Fund, a grant from Ohio EPA that covers 50-100% of cost of replacing or repairing failing septic systems in the county. Eligibility for grant is own home, income-eligible and have failing septic system. Call Emily Gerber at 330-674-5035.

Martha’s Cupboard, a mission of Holmesville United Methodist Church, open at church third Saturday each month from 10 a.m. to noon. Distributing free items such as household cleaning products, personal hygiene products, baby items, toiletries and more with number depending on family size and availability of products. The Baltic Area Historical Society will be opening its museum on Saturday, July 17 from noon-4 p.m. Plans are to open the third Saturday of each month with Aug. 21 the next date. Details are being made to resume the Baltic Classic Car Show on Sept 19 at the village park, with the public invited to enjoy food trucks, a 50/50 drawing, door prizes and a DJ playing music.
