Hoodletown Brewing Company, located at 424 W. Third St. in Dover, will host a craft beer program for the public in conjunction with the Dover Public Library on Friday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. Ales & Tales: The Story of Ohio’s Craft Beer Industry will be presented by author Rick Armon.

Armon will discuss the growth of the craft beer industry over the last decade and will quiz the audience about their knowledge of Ohio’s beer industry. Armon has been writing about beer as a newspaper reporter and author since 1999 and is the author of “Ohio Breweries and 50 Must Try Craft Beers.”

“We are excited to work with Hoodletown on this fun community program,” said Jim Gill, library director. “Those in attendance will learn about the craft brewery scene in the Buckeye State and will learn about Hoodletown’s story as well. We are also excited to hand out some great door prizes.”
