The children's department at the Dover Public Library will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m.

The library staff has stuffed 1,000 eggs with Easter favors and toys.

In the case of inclement weather, the hunt will be held inside, but all patrons should plan on an outside event. Kids age 10 and under are invited to bring a basket and collect eggs.

There will be several golden eggs mixed into the pile of eggs. Any child getting a gold egg will get an extra Easter prize — one golden egg per child.

The Dover Public Library is located at 525 N. Walnut St. in Dover.
